TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – The flames that brought down a 6,000-foot-square mansion in Tampa, Florida, have been extinguished, and the four bodies found inside have been removed.
Now, with the results of autopsies pending and authorities indicating the possibility of a murder-suicide, investigators are trying to piece together information about the family that lived in the home – and what may have led to the deaths.
Police say all four of the people found dead inside the home had been shot. Detectives said they recovered a gun registered to Darrin Campbell, a man who lived in the house with his wife and two teenage children.
Authorities still haven’t positively identified the bodies as those of the Campbell family members, but a relative said they were inside the home at the time of the fire.
