Crawford County Sheriff looking for vehicle

On Sunday, April 13, 2014 at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department initially discovered that several sand filled traffic barriers had been damaged on a bridge located on State Hwy 35 just south of Picatee Creek Rd. in the Township of Eastman. The bridge is currently under construction. 

Sometime during the late night hours of Saturday, April 12 or early morning hours of Sunday, April 13, a vehicle traveling northbound crashed into several traffic barriers causing severe damage. As a result of the crash, the suspect vehicle sustained severe front end damage and fled from the scene leaving behind several vehicle parts.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model black Chevrolet SUV or truck.
