PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. – Two people are arrested at a Prairie du Chien motel after police find drugs and drug making equipment in their room.

On Saturday, Chief Chad Abram said police were sent to the unnamed motel to help staff remove two unwanted guests.  When officers arrived, they found methamphetamine, marijuana, along with three “one pot” meth labs and the chemicals to go with those labs.

32-year-old Tate McFarlane and 30-year-old Daphne Bendall-McFarlane, both of Prairie du Chien, face charges of  drug manufacturing, drug possession, and possession of meth waste. Both were taken to the Crawford County Jail.

The fire department, Wisconsin Department of Justice, Crawford County Public Health, and Chicago Crime Scene Cleanup assisted at the scene.
