A Westby teenager was sent to an area hospital after a roll over accident on Monday. According to the Sheriffs Office Elizabeth F. Hauser, age 17, of rural Westby, was driving eastbound on U.S. Highway 14 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy road conditions. Her vehicle had crossed the median
where her vehicle rolled and came to rest in the westbound lane of traffic. Hauser was transported by Tri-State ambulance to Vernon Memorial Healthcare for possible injuries sustained from the crash.
Hauser was wearing her safety restraint at the time of the crash.
Assisting the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office was Tri-State Ambulance, and Westby First Responders.
The accident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
