...SNOW ON THE WAY FOR FRIDAY...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT
FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM CST FRIDAY...
.SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY LATE
FRIDAY AFTERNOON ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90. SNOW WILL MOVE
INTO SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA LATE TONIGHT AND
SPREAD OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA FRIDAY MORNING. THE SNOW
COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE DIMINISHING LATE
FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THE HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO MAINLY
BE ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN. A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM FRIDAY FOR
LOCATIONS WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM
FRIDAY EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM
CST FRIDAY.

* SNOW WILL BEGIN MOVING INTO THE AREA EARLY FRIDAY MORNING WITH
  THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED TO FALL AFTER DAYBREAK.

* STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

* DURING THE PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW...THE VISIBILITY COULD BE
  REDUCED TO ONE HALF OF A MILE OR LESS.

* ROADS AROUND THE AREA ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME SNOW COVERED BY OR
  DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE FRIDAY. PLAN ON TAKING LONGER TO GET
  TO WORK OR SCHOOL FRIDAY MORNING.
