Two vehicle crash in Crawford County injures two

A Gays Mills man and a child were injured as the result of a two vehicle crash in Crawford County on Thursday night. The Crawford County Sheriff’s office reports that at approximately 10:32 p.m. a deputy came upon a two vehicle accident on Cty Rd E. at Morgan Hollow Rd., in the Village of Lynxville.

Investigators say Sheila M. Millin, 26, of Lynxville was operating a vehicle from Morgan Hollow Rd. on to Cty Rd E. Millin failed to yield the right of way and struck a vehicle driven by Benjamin C. Eby, 34, of Gays Mills. Eby was eastbound on County Rd. E when his vehicle was struck on the passenger side by the Millin vehicle. Millin had one juvenile passenger in her vehicle during the accident.

Both vehicles sustained severe damage and Eby was transported to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse for his injuries. Millin’s passenger had minor injuries.

Millin was cited for Operating after Suspension 2nd Offense, Failure to Yield the Right Of Way from a Stop Sign and Violation of Child Safety Restraint.

Assisting the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department at the scene was Tri State Regional EMS, Seneca First Responders, Seneca Fire Department, Med Link Air and Bob’s Towing.
