BEETOWN, Wis. — A Mukwonago man was injured in a hunting accident in Grant County’s Beetown Township Saturday morning.

Gregory J. Knott, 32, was hunting deer on private property and seated in an elevated ladder stand at 6:30 a.m. when he loaded his .45 semi-automatic handgun. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department said the gun discharged, striking Knott in the palm of his left hand.
