La Crosse County Sheriff’s Dept. asking area hunters for help in locating missing Onalaska man

The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department is reminding the public, and especially deer hunters heading into the woods next week, to be on the lookout for an Onalaska man missing since Sept. of last year.

Dave Schroeder of Brice Prairie went missing on Saturday, September 22nd of 2012. Authorities believe Schroeder left on foot from his home not far from Oak Grove Learning Center. Dave is an adult white male, 45 years old. He is 6’5” and weighs 300lbs. He has black/grey hair and brown eyes and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a bright blue Journey Lutheran T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Dave is without diabetic medicine and may be in need of medical treatment.
