TOWN OF EASTON, Wis. (AP) – Sheriff’s officials say two people have died and another has been injured in a house fire in Adams County.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Easton shortly before 2 a.m. Monday and found the house was fully engulfed in flames. One person was found outside the home and had been injured in the fire.
Authorities say that person was rushed to Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship, then was transferred to another unnamed facility. Fire investigators found two other residents inside the house. They were pronounced dead by the Adams County medical examiner.
Names of the victims have not been released.
