Unused prescription drugs can be dropped off at specified locations across Wisconsin this Saturday, October 27th.
The state is participating in the National Prescription Drug “Take Back” Day. Anyone with unwanted, expired or unused prescription drugs can drop them off at participating sites between 10a.m. and 2 p.m. Some area locations include the Boscobel Pharmacy, Viterbo University Fine Arts Center, Lancaster Police Department, Mauston Police Department, Scenic Bluffs Community Health Center in Cashton, and Norwalk, the Richland Center Police Department, and the Sparta Police Department. Wisconsin residents dropped off 23 tons of drugs at 180 sites during the last “Take Back” day in April. Last year, both drop off days resulted in more than 30 tons of prescription drugs being handed over.
