La Crosse police are looking for a man who robbed a North Side bar at gunpoint late Saturday.
The bartender at Fish’s Bar, 1452 Caledonia St., said a man wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black scarf covering his face walked into the tavern about 11:45 p.m., reports stated.
“It’s cold outside,” the man said. “Give me all your money.”
He then pulled out a handgun before the bartender give him $580 from the cash register, reports stated.
The bartender described the gunman as a white male in his mid-20s about 5 foot 8 inches tall weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. The victim did not see how the gunman fled, but noticed a black Audi speeding away from the bar.
Police took DNA swabs of the bar’s door handles.
