New York Supreme Court to hear Super-Sized case

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s proposed ban on super-sized, sugary drinks isn’t dead yet. New York’s highest court has agreed to hear the city’s appeal of a ruling that blocked the measure. A lower court said the city Board of Health exceeded its authority by putting a 16-ounce size limit on high-calorie soft drinks. The cap would have applied to restaurants, stadiums and many other places.
