Tight end Jermichael Finley was cleared to practice on Tuesday and worked out with the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday.
Finley was knocked out of the September 22nd game against the Bengals when he was hit in the head on a tackle by Cincinnati safety George Iloka.
Iloka was not penalized for the hit, but was later fined $15,000 by the NFL. Finley said he thought the hit was clean and didn’t think Iloka deserved a fine.
Finley said he didn’t experience severe headaches or light sensitivity.
Rookie running back Eddie Lacy also returned to practice on Wednesday. He suffered a concussion on the first drive against Washington on September 15th. Lacy had to sit out the Cincinnati game because he hadn’t received clearance. Also returning to practice today was Clay Matthews who suffered a hamstring injury, he was in full pads, and participating in team drills.
For the first time this season, regular season anyways, CB Casey Hayward was also on the field taking reps.
