Authorities say a body found floating in the Hudson River in New York is that of a suspect wanted in a workplace shooting last week.
Nassau County Police Inspector Kenneth Lack said Monday that the body of 63-year-old Sang Ho Kim was found near a bridge north of New York City.
Kim has been identified by police as the gunman who shot two people at a lighting fixture company in Garden City on Long Island on Wednesday. Police say Kim had a business dispute with officials there.
He fled and his car was later found in upstate Putnam County.
Newsday has reported that Kim’s sister says he contacted her after the shooting to say he planned to commit suicide.
