The Wisconsin Education Fair to be held Friday, October 4, from 9 – 11am in the University of Wisconsin-Richland gymnasium offers people an opportunity to explore options and gather information useful in planning their future. It’s a convenient way to learn more about one, two or several options all in a single location.

This free event offers high school students and adults considering career change the opportunity to talk about their future with one or many of the representatives from nearly 80 private and public universities, technical colleges, vocational and trade schools, and the military expected to participate. Learn about requirements, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, and more.

About 600 students from southwest Wisconsin high schools are expected.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about Financial Aid.  Informational presentations are scheduled to begin at 9:45am and 10:30am in the Coppertop Theatre on campus. Matt Jurvelin, assistant dean for Student Affairs at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County will be the presenter.

Those considering participating are encouraged to sign up in advance at www.wefs.org/registration to get a bar code, used at the fair to share their contact information.

All people interested in higher education opportunities—high school students, their families,

and adults thinking about returning to the classroom–are welcome to stop by. UW-Richland is located at 1200 Highway 14 West in Richland Center. For more information, contact on-site coordinator George Henze by e-mail at george.henze@uwc.edu or by calling the campus at (608) 647-6186, Option #3.
