While there is still time to apply for fall 2013 admission at the University of Wisconsin-Richland, that time is now.

Those who will be new freshmen and who have not yet taken part in their STAR (SummerTime Advising and Registration) session, have one remaining opportunity coming up from 1-4:30pm Thursday, August 22. During STAR, students register for fall classes and get an orientation to their campus. Parents are encouraged to participate.

Students who have not yet taken placement tests in English and mathematics, results of which are needed before class registration, will have an opportunity to test on the morning of August 22, prior to STAR.

To apply for fall admission, visit the UW-Richland website at richland.uwc.edu and follow the “Become a Student” links on the home page. Advisors are available by phone, email and in-person appointment to assist and answer questions.

Final registration/payment dates are coming up in late August. Continuing students are scheduled to complete final registration Wednesday, August 28. New freshmen are scheduled to complete final registration Friday, August 30. On both dates, the hours are 9-11:30am and 1:30-4pm.

Fall 2013 classes will begin Tuesday, September 3, the day after Labor Day.

To make a reservation for STAR, placement testing, or to meet with an advisor, email the campus at rlninfo@uwc.edu or phone the Office of Student Affairs at (608) 647-6186, and select option 3.
