Aaron Bouzek, 33, was convicted in Grant County of multiple counts of 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault, Child Pornography and Child Sexual Exploitation. He pleaded no contest to the charges.
Madison.com reports Bouzek admitted to investigators he sexually assaulted one of his victims hundreds of times and took hundreds of photos and videos of her.
The judge ordered Bouzek to serve his sentences for each of his five victims consecutively, resulting in nearly 5 decades in prison. The state had asked the judge to sentence him to 120 years, according to the Wisconsin State Journal, after he victimized girls as young as infants over a nine-year period.
Bouzek’s attorney asked the judge to give her client a 25 year sentence because he cooperated with police and a psychologist said he had a low to moderately low risk of re-offending, according to the newspaper’s report.
The Wisconsin State Journal says Bouzek himself told the court he knew he would be judged for “pretty horrible actions. (But) few people will judge me more harshly than myself.”
