Vernon County man arrested for growing 29 marijuana plants

A Vernon County Sheriff’s deputy discovered a marijuana growing operation over the weekend while attempting to serve a warrant.

According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office a deputy was attempting to serve a warrant on Brent Felde, 43, at his residence on Call Rd, in the Town of Sterling. While attempting to serve the warrant a marijuana growing operation was located by the deputy.

A search warrant was obtained and approximately 29 marijuana plants were found planted in pots in the shed at the residence. Charges will be sought through the Vernon County District Attorney’s office for Manufacturing and Possession of Marijuana.

This incident is still under Investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
