JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) – A man accused of killing his father in 1994 when he was just 10 years old is now suspected of attacking his mother in Rock County.
Janesville police say the man, now 30 years old, jumped in a car and sped away after officers went to his mother’s house Monday. Sgt. Mark Ratzlaff says the woman is bedridden and frail and likely suffered a dislocated shoulder.
The Janesville Gazette says the man had to be extricated from the car after crashing and rolling it several times. The man was the youngest person ever accused of homicide in Rock County when his 45-year-old father was fatally shot. He was too young to either be waived into adult court or found delinquent. The court instead ruled he was a child in need of protective services.
